Edelweiss Original is a manufacturer of fine knit scarves for all. Our scarves are made from the finest yarns, on machines especially designed and built by us, using US and Italian made components.
Crafted for Elegance and Warmth
Our 100% Merino Wool scarves offer extreme softness and elegance, the ultimate in cuddly warmth. We also offer scarves made of a 70% Acrylic/ 30% Wool blend which is practical and easy to care for, while being soft and elegant. We offer a range of 15 colors, suitable choices for every taste and occasion. We have two types of knitting, Conventional and Shaker. The Conventional is a tighter knit while the Shaker has a larger stitch, giving it a more rugged look, bulkier and soft. Each scarf is finished by hand and each fringe is tied one knot at a time to ensure quality.

Edelweiss Original was formed in 2019 and is a continuation of the former Edelweiss Manufacturing Company, Inc, which was established in 1982 in Hickory, NC. Still located in Hickory, Edelweiss Original continues the tradition of quality and innovation that Edelweiss Manufacturing Company, Inc was known for.
